by Marcy J Maslov, CEO and Inventor of e-Factor!
Most business owners do not understand accounting or how to read their financial statements. In fact, most business owners do not even look at their financial reports on a regular basis until tax time. This provides the opportunity for bookkeepers to steal – they know their owners will not catch them. Most of the theft and fraud in small business comes from either the bookkeeper or friends and family.
2025 is the year small business owners are finally looking at their financial reports. And admitting they don’t understand what those reports say. And they are not getting good answers from the accounting expert they hired and trusted to do the accounting. In this interactive program we’re going to understand how to analyze financials and learn how to explain the results to these small business owners in more meaningful ways.
We will explain
- Why business owners are changing bookkeepers in 2025
- Statistics on small business fraud
- What reports are best to use in uncovering theft, fraud and mistakes – and how to explain the financial reports to non-accountants.
