2 hour CPE- Field of Study : Behavioral Ethics (nontechnical): Ethical Decision Making

“Exploring the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice”

We are all faced with ethical dilemmas in our jobs and knowing the right thing to do is not always easy or clear. This workshop will offer a framework, complete with practical strategies and tools, through which you, as a leader, can foster an ethical workplace and effectively deal with the difficult situations that arise. This course can also assist global Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) volunteer leaders in understanding IMA’s Statement of Ethical Professional Practice (SEPP) and why ethics are important. Non-IMA volunteers will also find this session valuable as the SEPP is a great tool to provide help in navigating ethic situations. You will be participating in several different exercises and discussions in addition to the presentations on the principles and standards of SEPP.

Attend this 2-hour CPE workshop to dive down into ethical discussion around the IMA SEPP with examples on ethical situations. You don’t want to miss this Ethics Workshop.

Learning Objectives:

“After attending this presentation, you will be able to…”

1. Summarize the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice.

2. Help others understand the IMA Statement of Ethical Practice and how it is applied.

3. List examples of how each of the four standards from the Statement are applied in real life.

4. Identify what is expected of a leader in applying the standards.
