8:00 AM to 9:00 AM- Budgets- Budgeting Concepts at Crescent Crown Distributing by Neil Baier,Vice President of Finance of Crescent Crown Distributing

1 hour CPE- Field of Study : Finance. Technical

Learning Objectives:  After completing this sessions, participants will:

  • Know a number of different budgeting techniques available to companies
  • Understand the benefits and limitations of budgeting for companies
  • Understand the budgeting methodology at Crescent Crown Distributing and why CCD chose to utilize those concepts

 

 Bio: Neil Baier is the Vice President of Finance of Crescent Crown Distributing, one of the largest beer and beverage distributors in the US.  Crescent Crown sells and delivers over 35 million cases annually throughout its distribution territories in Arizona and Southern Louisiana.  Neil has been leading the Arizona division’s Finance and Accounting group since 2008.  Previously Neil worked as Finance Manager for Intel Corp., as Plant Controller for Rexam Beverage Can Co., and as Global Manufacturing Finance Manager for ON Semiconductor. 

 

Neil graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Accounting and earned his MBA from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM) through the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).  He lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wife of 27 years, Mara, and has two daughters Nora and Raquel.  Neil was formerly President of the Mesa Arts Center Foundation and served on the boards of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, the Phoenix Valley of the Sun Chapter of the IMA, and Mesa Community College’s Development Board.
