AZ Valley of the Sun Chapter is one of the most active chapters of IMA Global. As a result, from Tuesday, February 20th to Wednesday, February 21st, Jeff Thomson, President & CEO of IMA will be visiting our chapter.
On Tuesday, during the day, he will join us on scheduled corporate and student chapter visits. Later that evening, he will deliver a chapter presentation in the evening at our Net-Tech and President's Night.
Our corporate visit mission is to learn more about companies in the valley, and how their finance and accounting departments operate, to learn what challenges they face regularly, and to discuss what the IMA and CMA have to offer to help them address these challenges. Traditionally we typically visit companies with five or more professionals in their accounting/finance department. This prohibits meeting with smaller companies in the valley.
This CFO Sync is an opportunity for CFO/VP Finance, Controllers and accounting/finance professionals from small to medium sized companies to get the benefit from an IMA Corporate Visit in a new network, happy hour format. Crescent Crown Distributing (CCD) is hosting the event. Neil Baier, VP Finance of CCD will give us a tour of their facilities after Jeff's presentation.
