BOOKKEEPER/ACCOUNTANT - 7/24/17
Westcare is a corporate office with diverse holdings in multiple states including nursing homes,
management/holding companies, and real estate. We are in need of a talented, multi‐tasking
Accounting Clerk, who is organized and detailed‐oriented. The position includes working in an
environment that utilizes QuickBooks with multiple entities, and several other entities in healthcare ERP
system. This includes but is not limited to the following: preparing financial statements, accounts
payable, bank reconciliations for multiple entities & banks, small accounts receivable, processing payroll
for multi‐states, payroll tax preparation, internal auditing, sales tax preparation, and assistance with
external financial/401(k) auditing.
Home office is located in the Paradise Valley area of North Phoenix. Base pay offering is $40,000/year
but a higher wage may be offered for direct, relevant experience. Westcare offers a great benefits

The position will report to the Controller/CFO. The Accounting Clerk works closely with the
Controller/CFO in all aspects of corporate holdings. This position offers a great opportunity for growth
and is placed within the company for potential succession to the position of Controller, reporting
directly to the CFO. We are seeking someone who is eager to grow and willing to learn a complex variety
The position is full time, and requires a High School Diploma or GED. Experience in bookkeeping,
Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, 10‐key, and/or skilled nursing facility environment are all positives.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are needed. The position will require continued growth, willingness to learn
new tasks/talents, and Integrity & Trust are a must.
