As Employment Director for the chapter, my position is to act as a liaison between members who are looking for employment and companies who contact our chapter with open positions.

For members who are seeking new positions, I can help in the following ways:

  1. I will email alerts to job seekers when new positions are posted.
  2. Members may post a copy of their resume or a link to their resume on the website.

For companies who have accounting and finance positions they would like to fill:

  1. The IMA Valley of the Sun Chapter will post open positions on the website for members and for non-members.
  2. I will send an email notice to members that are actively looking for a new opportunity.

As the Employment Director for our chapter, I am not meant to take the place of our partnership with or a professional recruiter.   A link to is at the top of this page, and will provide a much better list of available positions for our members than I can provide. Through the agreement with our chapter, also provides a discount to member companies who would like to advertise positions.  We also have several excellent recruiters who attend our meetings and support our chapter, and I would urge you to contact one of them if you are seeking employment.  As Employment Director, I am here to be an extra resource and to help pass information between our members who are seeking positions and to those looking for qualified candidates for positions and to help in any way I can help you.

Westcare is a corporate office with diverse holdings in multiple states including nursing homes,
management/holding companies, and real estate. We are in need of a talented, multi‐tasking
Accounting Clerk, who is organized and detailed‐oriented. The position includes working in an
environment that utilizes QuickBooks with multiple entities, and several other entities in healthcare ERP
system. This includes but is not limited to the following: preparing financial statements, accounts
payable, bank reconciliations for multiple entities & banks, small accounts receivable, processing payroll
for multi‐states, payroll tax preparation, internal auditing, sales tax preparation, and assistance with
external financial/401(k) auditing.
Home office is located in the Paradise Valley area of North Phoenix. Base pay offering is $40,000/year
but a higher wage may be offered for direct, relevant experience. Westcare offers a great benefits

Arizona), dental insurance, vision insurance, life and supplement insurance, and a matching 401(k) plan.
The position will report to the Controller/CFO. The Accounting Clerk works closely with the
Controller/CFO in all aspects of corporate holdings. This position offers a great opportunity for growth
and is placed within the company for potential succession to the position of Controller, reporting
directly to the CFO. We are seeking someone who is eager to grow and willing to learn a complex variety
of topics.
The position is full time, and requires a High School Diploma or GED. Experience in bookkeeping,
Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, 10‐key, and/or skilled nursing facility environment are all positives.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are needed. The position will require continued growth, willingness to learn
new tasks/talents, and Integrity & Trust are a must.
